We use our tried-and-true process to clean-up your computer and also evaluate it for potential upgrades (software and hardware) and will make recommendations to you. Sometimes a simple clean-up is all it takes. Sometimes replacing an aging hard drive can do wonders for performance.
Making a backup can be as simple as copying your data to an external hard drive! We've encountered many urgent situations where our clients did not have a recent backup or any backup at all! We will talk with you about how you use your technology and can provide a solution that will work for you. We use trusted backup service providers for cloud-based backup and can set-up and configure it all for you. Most importantly, show you how to protect access to the chosen service.
We've serviced many different brands over the years and our personal favorites in recent years have been Lenovo for laptops and Dell for desktops. We do sell and service refurbished Dell OptiPlex PC's, but do not currently sell laptops or other devices. We service all brands.
We've done many house calls over the years and have found that sitting down one-on-one brings comfort to many of our clients. It's a great way to see the issue hands-on in the environment where the issue is occurring. While we don't typically do hardware repairs in your home, there are many services that we can do. If we do have to take your computer with us, rest assured it's in good hands and we will provide a quote before we start work and keep you informed on the progress as we complete the work. There is no charge for pick-up and delivery.
We have helped many clients with our remote support and have clients in other states that we only do remote support with. There are times when we will need to get hands on the computer, but for many situations remote support is a good option. Our system works by you downloading the software required, running it and allowing us access to your computer. This is access with only your permission and it can be used for future sessions as well.
